Acknowledge Infertility as a Disease, Not a Choice.
No one expects to receive a diagnosis of infertility, or in even more crippling times, unexplained infertility, but they do. Then we reach out to the insurance companies WE pay to help us, not expecting to be turned away, and we are. Infertility is a disease that men and women do not choose, nor do we welcome the depression, shame, and anxiety that accompany it.
The right to petition your government is guaranteed by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Throughout our history, Americans have used petitions to organize around issues they care about from ending slavery, to guaranteeing women's right to vote, to the civil rights movement.
Infertility is a disease of the reproductive system. One third (30%) of infertility can be attributed to male factors, and about one third (30%) can be attributed to female factors. In about 20% of cases infertility is unexplained, and the remaining 10% of infertility is caused by a combination of problems in both partners.

Contact your representatives and senators and urge them to support coverage of infertility treatment.
we're asking for help from friends, family, strangers anyone willing to make a donation to help make our family complete. Broken down into small steps all we need is 1000 people to give $10 each, right? Seems easy... To be perfectly honest I'm not exactly comfortable asking for help, but we have to do what we're not comfortable with in order to get the results we want, right? Besides, what's $10 - lunch out, 2 of your favorite coffees, a really good martini or glass of wine?
I understand that times are tough in this world and we should just be happy with everything that we have - our health, our fur babies, jobs, food, a roof over our head and each other. But we're going to be selfish and want just a little bit more; it's natural to want right?
If you can donate that's FREAKING AWESOME and we will forever be indebted to you. If you're going through your own personal struggles right now and are unable to give please share (Facebook, Twitter, email, etc.) our request with anyone and everyone you know.
Thank you you for taking the time to consider our request.
